Dr.Ramachandra Aryasri, Ankisetti is currently the Director, School of Management Studies, JNTUniversity, Hyderabad. He has three decades of experience in teaching, training, research and consulting. He secured Ph.D from Andhra University, MBA from Indira Gandhi Open University, New Delhi, M.Com from Sri Venkateswara University. He has published several text books published by McGraw-Hill for B.Tech Programmes of JNT University and Anna University, Tamilnadu . His present areas of interest include Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, HRM and Strategic Management.
He has organised several seminars, refresher courses, Faculty Development programmes and Executive Development programmes in association with several professional bodies and corporates such as Andhra Pradesh Urban Services for Poor (APUSP), Tata Consulting Services (TCS), Karvy Comtrade, SPSS South Asia etc.

He is life member of several professional bodies such as Indian Industrial Relations Association, New Delhi, Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, Indian Accounting Association, Hyderabad, HRD Network, Hyderabad, and Society of Entrepreneurship Educators, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Research:
He has 41 research papers published in national and international journals/conferences. He presented a research paper entitled Impact of Technological Transfer on Productivity at International Conference on Management of Technology II at Miami, Florida, USA in February, l990.
Administrative Experience:
On Sabbatical from Dr.Aryasri worked for Nizwa College of Technology, Ministry of Social Affairs, Labour and Vocational Training, Sultanate of Oman during 1997-2002. Also, he was the Head, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad during 1994-97. Dr.Aryasri was a Commissioned Officer in Air Force and served as Associate NCC officer during 1988-97 at JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
Awards:
Dr A.R.Aryasri is the recipient of State Teacher Award from Chief Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh for his meritorious services to the Teacher/student fraternity on the occasion of Teachers’ Day i.e 5th September 2008.

Dr.M.S.Bhat

Dr.M.S.Bhat has been in School for the last fifteen years as Professor of Management Science. For 10 years he was Head of school and for two and half years its Director. Presently he is Chairman, Board of Management Studies.
Earlier he worked in Electronics Corporation of India Ltd for 21 years in various functional area of Management in its Communication Division. He was responsible for Transfer of Know How , Development, Production and Commission of 30 Channel PCM Equipments for Department of Telecommunication , Govt. of India.
Dr.Bhat has a Ph.D. from O.U. in Business Management, M.Tech. in Industry Engineering and Management from JNTU and B.E. from Indian Institute of Science Banglore. He has a diploma in management from All India Management Association.
Dr.Bhat has more than 50 research articles to his credit and Coauthor of two books. He has edited one text book. He has successfully guided 6 research scholars for their Ph.D. and another three are in advanced stage of the work.
Three of his articles have won National Award.
He has been Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Secretary and Vice Chairman of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Hyderabad Centre. He is Chairman of Board of Studies in JNTU since 1994. He was member of Board of Studies in O.U. Member of Advisory Council for PG Diploma in Management Programme of University of Hyderabad. Member of Advisory Council of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management , Hyderabad. He has been Chief editor of “Scope”, an in house magazine of ECIL officers and IETE News of IETE Hyderabad Chapter. He is in the panel of members of expert committee of All India Council for Technical Education and served as examiner of many other universities , Union Public Service Commission, AP Public Service Commission UGC at various levels including doctorate. He was an expert for Venture Capital Project Appraisal for IDBI. He has contributed course materials for MBA programme of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. He has authored a few audio and Video(television) lessons and conducted them for Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University MBA programme. He has secured TAPTEC and MODROB projects from AICTE successfully and completed them. He also secured couple of projects from UGC for School and executed them. Dr.D.Raghunatha Reddy

Has more than 13 years of experience in teaching and research in the area of management. Prior to joining University Dr. Raghunatha Reddy worked as Assistant Statistical Officer and Deputy Statistical Officer in the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (AP) from 1989 to 1992. He has published 25 articles in the various journals of management. He has guided 4 PhD’s. He has involved in preparation of course material for MBA students of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University in the area of Capital Budgeting and Risk analysis. He assisted in organizing various seminars sponsored by Technical education Government of A.P and Small Industrial Development Bank of India (SIDBI). He is also authored book on Managerial economics & Financial Accounting.
Dr. V.M.Prasad

Dr Prasad has about 20 years of teaching, research, training and consultancy experience. Prior to joining School, JNTU in 1992, he was associated with projects like business cycles, case studies on corporate planning at The Times Research Foundation of Bennett Coleman and Company. After qualifying in the UGC-NET in Business Administration, he did his Ph.D on the topic “Diversification Strategy and Financial Performance of Indian Private Corporate Sector”. He received best thesis gold medal, among the theses submitted to the faculties of Business Management, Commerce and Economics in Osmania. On sabbatical during 2001-2003, he was associated with Stansfield School of Business, Singapore as Senior Lecturer for the Degree Programmes of University of London and London School of Economics. He lectured on subjects like Computer Based Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Development and Management and Human Computer Interaction. As content developer, coordinated uploading of UOL and LSE courses on the US Black Board E-learning Software. During 2004 he was associated as Senior Mentor for the e-Commerce Management subject of MSIT programme of Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
He guided and guiding several doctoral research scholars and MBAs. He received AICTE, Ministry of HRD funds for the Business Systems Project implemented at SMS, JNTU. His current areas of research include integration of Information and ERP Systems with Corporate Strategy to gain competitive advantage and sustainable Growth. In this direction, he is preparing cases on information systems and is also researching from the angle of human values, transformational leadership and management of change. He presented several papers in journals like IIMB Management Review, Management Research, national and international conferences and also contributed book chapters on Outsourcing ITES and Global Leadership published by Jaiko and Allied respectively. Dr.Sindhu Ph.D.Osmania University
Senior Assistant Professor and Placement Officer
Dr.Sindhu is Ph.D. in Business Management from OsmaniaUniversity and has over a decade of experience in teaching and training. She qualified herself in JRF-NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. She has a decade of experience in teaching and training. Her passion includes motivating, mentoring and facilitating the management students to perform at their best. Her current research areas include Finance, Mutual Funds, Work-Life Balance, Performance and Retention Management.
At SMS, JNTUniversity, Dr.Sindhu is Placement Officer and also Examinations-in-Charge. For over six years, she has been Placement Officer and ensured that all the students are well placed. She has been the student advisor for Synergy-The Management Fest, the annual event aimed at promoting the students’ competencies on soft skills front and providing an understanding of management dynamics.
Dr.Sindhu organized more than 12 Seminars/workshops/Conferences/training programme in association with industry. With her contacts around, she also arranges for the summer internships for the MBA II semester students.
She is the Officer I/C Exams and ensures that the mid term and the end term exams are held smoothly. She is also the examiner for the other Universities and the affiliated colleges of the JNTU offering MBA programme.
She has so far guided over 110 projects for both day-time and Part-time MBA programme. Her pedagogy includes individual assignments and team projects in all the papers she handles to give practical exposure to the students. She is actively involved in the all the activities related to Industry-Institute Interaction.
She has developed the study material for Distance Education MBA programme of the OsmaniaUniversity. Also she authored a “Management Overview” which nuggets of information of all the subjects faced in the two-year MBA Program. Prior to joining SMS, JNTUniversity, Dr.Sindhu worked at School of Management Studies, CBIT, Hyderabad for more than two years.
Ms. A. Santosh Kumari MBA, (PhD)

Santhosh Kumari joined as Assistant Professor in School of Management Studies, JNTU in 2000. She has done her graduation and Post-graduation in Management from OsmaniaUniversity. Other than teaching Management subjects, her areas of interest are Training on soft skills, and Research. She has published eleven research papers in various journals of national and international repute. She is actively involved in Interactive individual based teaching-learning process, as a part of this, she has been presenting series of lectures on contemporary management issues, on Doordarshan TV channel and other various educational channels.
Ms.Santhosh Kumari has been the mentor and enjoys motivating students to perform better both at curricular and extra-curricular front. The team led by her was adjudged as the Winner Team among the various business schools from all over India, for the best Business Plan for Vision-2020 at Leadership Conference-2007 organised by Project Management International at Infosys, Hyderabad
She shows great zeal to organize Seminars/ /Executive Development and Training programmes in association with industry. She organizes Expert lectures from industry and institutions of national and international repute on emerging business trends and contemporary management Practices.
She has organized five Workshops and training programmes on Contemporary Management Practices. She was the Co-convener of the National Seminar on “Management of Services in a Competitive Market Environment” during 2004. She organizes from time-to-time Workshops on Soft Skills for the practicing executives and Management students. She is the trained faculty on ERP platform for Supply Chain Management & Retailing Programme on the CAPS-Logistics software.
Currently she is doing her doctoral research in Finance. And working on research papers. |
